Joining a chess club is a great way to improve your skills! Learn through interactive workshops and game play with other players of all skill levels. Share your best strategies with your neighbors to help them improve as well. If you don’t already know how to play, there will always be someone willing to help you out. Beginners are always welcome! Learn to play chess with us!
It is all about having fun! Yes, chess is a cerebral activity that helps improve reasoning, concentration, and a host of other things. But is also a fun activity and a great way to meet your neighbors! Get together for casual play or serious competition! Because it is a social activity with close proximity, face masks will be required at all times.
Ultimately, this is what a club is all about, making new friends! Meet people in your community, enjoy the casual pastime with others in a game of chess!.
That is right, there is no cost whatsoever to join our chess club! Bring your own boards and chess clocks is the only requirement. If you do not have your own equipment, that is ok too, someone will let you play on their board! As we grow, we may be able to purchase official competition equipment through donations, but the club itself will always remain free!
