How do I purchase a gi?
Once you decide to commit to your karate journey, investing in a gi is your single most important step.
At Simba Dojo, we offer custom-designed, top-quality gis made exclusively for our active members. We do not stock or retail uniforms, nor do we profit from their sale—we simply commission each order directly on your behalf. To maintain our school’s identity and tradition, we ask that students do not wear gis featuring branding from other dojos unless officially representing those schools.
Choosing the Right Material
While many budget-friendly options use polyester-cotton blends—which are durable but trap heat—our official uniforms are crafted from 100% natural cotton. Cotton offers superior breathability and comfort during rigorous training, making it well worth the extra investment.
With proper care, a quality cotton gi is a long-lasting investment that will serve you for years to come (unless, of course, you have a growing child who needs a size up!).
